We are developing a digital agriculture infrastructure to democratize information. Our web and mobile platform utilizes government, research and crowd data to automates analysis using geospatial technologies and illustrates the results in easy readable formats at farm level (through mobile app) and at sub-national levels (through web app). In short, GeoKRISHI The science of solution: “Where, which agro-product, when and how?” Connecting people to improve productivity at the farm level.

• Monitoring Human Right Violations

Founded in 1988, Informal Sector Service Centre (INSEC) has been involved in multi sectoral issues related to human rights throughout Nepal. Insec also collects, disseminates and archives human rights violation data which are collected from primary sources of information. Based on thus collected yearly Insec data, this app focusses on visualizing indicator-based Human Rights Violations in the form of maps thus enabling users to micro-analyze incidents and victim statistics using their own custom queries.

• Renewable Energy project MIS Activity Mapping System:

The system is a web GIS based platform for organization to information on its project activities. The system provides data and information visualization tools using statistical tools like graphs and pie chart. By using the system one can easily identify and help understand the gap of activities at project planning and field implementation level and provide a basis for future activity planning. The application has the back-end application feature where authorized user can manage the data.

• Earthquake occurrence:

From the past month of April 2015 we felt numerous quake and aftershocks, as it happens we always want to know where the recent quake epicenter was and its magnitude. But in later days we also want to know how many shocks were occurred yesterday or in particular districts. This app has all the updates on quake’s data & time, epicenter and magnitude in time series manner.

• Food and Nutrition Security - to unlock and formulates meaning to data:

Over the past years, the Government of Nepal has prepared and implemented plans, policies and programs to improve Nepal’s food security and nutrition situation. This web based visualisation application presents a situational analysis of food security and nutrition based on the results of the Nepal Living standards Survey 2010-2011 (NLSS-II) and other sources of sectoral data and indicators. This app provides a way to visualise the long-term trends of food security and nutrition outcomes and analyzes various factors indicators offering comprehensive descriptions about the complex and imminent issue of food security and nutrition in Nepal.
